Interior odors develop when bacteria and organic material become trapped in carpets, upholstery, headliners, and air circulation systems. Common sources include food spills, smoke, pets, moisture, and everyday use. Simply masking odors does not solve the problem, as the source remains embedded in interior materials.
Our odor removal service focuses on eliminating odors at the source, not covering them up. Because odors are trapped deep within fabrics and interior surfaces, odor removal cannot be performed without first completing a full interior detail. The interior detail allows us to thoroughly clean carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces so odor-causing bacteria can be properly treated.
During the process, upholstery and carpet fibers are deep cleaned to remove contaminants that hold odor. This is followed by targeted odor-neutralizing treatments designed to kill bacteria rather than temporarily mask smells. Treating the interior at this level is the only effective way to achieve long-lasting odor removal.
For odors related to airflow or musty smells, replacement of the cabin air filter is required. The cabin air filter traps moisture, dust, and bacteria over time and can reintroduce odors into the vehicle if not replaced. Odor removal results cannot be guaranteed without a clean cabin air filter.
